No such issue with other sources (but they are all HDMI 2.0). With any more recent drivers, I get a black screen and have to select EDID A (HDMI 2.1) to get a picture. Interestingly, this EDID B (HDMI 2.0) works fine with pre-535.98 drivers. The whole chain is forced to 2.0 (the JVC EDID is set to an HDMI 2.0 EDID, and I've limited the Denon's bandwidth to HDMI 2.0 by setting it to HDMI Enhanced 4K instead of HDMI Enhanced 8K). I'm using a HDMI 2.0 input on my X8500HA as mentioned above. Its possible they are trying to get desktop at 60Hz working, which just doesn't work.Īgain, have you checked at 4K24 10/12bits? 60p (8bits) works fine. 4K 10-bit is severely bandwidth constrained on HDMI 2.0. The reports above all have HDMI 2.0 devices in their chain. Works just fine from my 3070 Ti to an LG G1 through a Denon AVR as well.
